Airport construction is a complex process governed by stringent safety standards and regulatory requirements. These standards are primarily established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure the safety of aircraft operations, passengers, workers, and the public.
Projects that receive federal funding are subject to additional oversight and compliance requirements. Regulatory agencies issue specific guidance to ensure construction activities meet all applicable safety, security, and operational standards.
